Marketing Bachelors Program (Old plan)

Program Overview

The marketing program in the college of Business Administration in Northern Border University is one of the renewed programs in the university, as the field is progressing locally and regionally as well as its importance on all commercial, industrial, and service projects.  since the 1970's, marketing has been a pivotal pillar in any system including non-profit governmental organizations.

Marketing considered to be an art and a science that requires research before creating a service or product in order to understand the intended audience. Marketing also entails tasks after production such as, ads, design, distribution, and pricing of the products. A pivotal pillar for the success of any organization, as it focuses on customer service and satisfaction as that is very important in the age of science and great competition.

Description

The marketing program offers a blend of new courses that adhere to the labor market needs, as it contains administrative, marketing concepts, showcasing local, regional, and global practices. The program aims to provide students with with the necessary information and theories to form marketing plans and jobs. The program also has practical application, marketing prediction, and blending as well as marketing theories.

Students take 121 credit hours in 4 academic years across 8 levels, students can take between 15 and 18 credits maximum in one term. 

MissionPreparing students with scientific and research capabilities in the field of marketing who can contribute to sustainable development and community service.
Objectives 

1.  Building the student’s identity, knowledge, skills, and issues related to marketing.

2.  Motivating faculty members to scientific publishing and spreading the culture of scientific research among students.

3.  Building effective and ongoing relationships with the local community through partnerships.

4.  Preparing students for a successful career in marketing.

1- Achieving a 3.00 GPA and above in the preparatory year. 

2- Achieving a B in introduction to Marketing course .

Marketing Bachelors Program  (New Plan) 

Program Overview

The marketing program in Northern Border University is a complete academic program comprised of 121 credit hours for the bachelors degree. Aiming to provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in the ever so changing  labor market demands. 

An "Exit Point" was developed in the new plan where students who complete 70 credit hours can acquire a "Diploma in Marketing" which aims to:

  • Provide early work opportunities : where students can enter the labor market before completing the bachelors requirements.
  • Develop applied skills: the program focuses on these skills that students need in the labor market.
